A Sheriff's Sale
will always be held on the first Tuesday of the month, on the North steps of
the Hunt County Courthouse at 10:00 am pending availability of properties. If
there are no properties listed on this site, then there are no properties being
offered in that particular month.
Simple

House a little before 10:00 am on the date of the sale.
- Once you get
there you will be required to fill out a small informational card and you
will be assigned a “Bidding Number”.
- A Deputy will
conduct the sale by announcing each property and giving bidders adequate
time to bid.
- If you are the
successful ‘high’ bidder on a property, you have until noon to make
full payment for the property at the Hunt County Criminal Justice Center
for that property purchase. Payment will be accepted by Cashiers Check or Postal Money Order ONLY.
